• University of Michigan Boy's Soccer Residential Camp offers a positive developmental environment for the intermediate to advanced player. The curriculum is organized for the player to build a solid technical foundation and be challenged with advanced individual and team tactics in a large game setting.

  • Payment and Discounts
    The total cost of one session of residential camp is $520 per player. A deposit of $300 is required with your registration form.

    For commuter campers (no room or board) the total cost of camp is $350. A deposit of $200 is required with your registration form.

    All registrations postmarked after July 1 must be paid in full plus a $20 late fee.

    All campers receive a $10 discount per player when 4 or more registrations are received together. Receive a $15 discount per player when 8 or more registrations are received together.

  • Registration by Mail
    Click the link to download a copy of the one-page registration form. Print, complete, and mail the registration form along with your camp deposit to reserve your space in camp. Upon receipt of your registration form, you will receive a confirmation letter via email with additional medical release forms and all other relevant information about the camp.

  • Staff
    Coach Burns personally runs the camps and is on the fields every day. His staff consists of his assistant coaches, other college head and assistant coaches, current and former players from the University of Michigan, and other proven high level coaches. The especially low camper to coach ratio, last year was 10 to 1, makes for a great learning environment that is well supervised at all times. Coach Burns' assistant camp director is Chris Grassie. Coach Grassie handles all the daily on-field organization of the camp.

       Goalkeepers
    Goalkeepers will be trained daily during the morning functional training session. GK sessions include play on the line, reaction saves, angle play, crosses, boxing, breakaway techniques and tactics, backpasses, directing the defense, footwork and speed training, reading the game and more. These skills will be trained in the mornings and integrated into a team structure during the 11 v 11 games. Our GK trainers will watch your 11v11 games and analyze how you perform these skills under the pressures of the live match. This program is very demanding and fills up quickly.

  • Facilities
    The camp uses Mitchell Fields for all soccer activities. Mitchell Fields are within walking distance of the dormitory. All lodging and meals will be in the Bursley Residence Hall.

  • Check-In and Check-Out
    Check-in on Sunday will be from 2-4 p.m. at Bursley Residence Hall. Thursday check-out is from 12-1 p.m.  The awards ceremony begins at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday on the steps of Bursley Hall.

  • Commuter Camper Information

  • Roommate Preference
  • All rooms are double occupancy. Space is provided on the registration form to indicate the name of your roommate, if you have a preference. If you do not have a preference, you will be assigned a roommate of the same age when you check into the camp on the first day.
  • Refund Policy
    If a camper withdraws at least one week prior to the start of camp, all funds paid to date will be returned minus a $75 administrative fee. No refunds will be returned for any reason once a camp begins.
